Subject: URGENT: Convention dates error
Dear all,
We have just discovered a miscommunication with the Sheraton Crescent Hotel as regards the dates of the 2011 Diocesan Convention. This year there are 5 Saturdays but only 4 Fridays in October. The hotel scheduled us for the 3rd Saturday and I scheduled us for the 3rd Friday. They don't have space on the other weekend.
Therefore Diocesan Convention this year has to be moved to Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15.
We are sorry for the confusion and hope that this doesn't create too much difficulty for you and your delegates.
In addition, the deadlines for nominations and resolutions will change as follows: Nominations must be received by August 31; Resolutions must be received by August 31.
Again, I am so sorry for this situation. Please don't hesitate to let me know if I can be of assistance with anything.

Notes From the Office!
Fr. Smith and Terri will be home for the week-end services. It will be good to have them back after a much deserved vacation.
Once again St. Michael’s Food Pantry stock is low. The pantry is in need of food in all categories. We are completely out of various canned beans, low on soup and canned spaghetti as well as dry spaghetti with canned sauce. Completely out of cereal, snacks, canned fruit, fruit juices and evaporated milk. Running low on tuna fish.
It seems that through your generosity, the pantry was well stocked just a couple of weeks ago. But due to the high demand for food, both from the regulars and many new people, the pantry is dangerously low!
Any donations that you would give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your charitable concern.
Peace
Nancy

Notes from Nancy
Just Notes!
Fr. Smith and Terri are enjoying the Midwest and Terri relatives. Fr. Smith remarked how green everything is and how clean the streets are. He has not spent much time in the Midwest and is enjoying the change. Fr. Smith and Terri will return for services on July 17th.
One more Casa Maria this month on Friday, July 29th. We always need extra shelled eggs! We need YOU!
ICS Sponsored Donations of School Supplies for the less fortunate children continues until Sunday, July 24th. The collection box is located in the back of church.
We have thoroughly enjoyed The Rev. Clare Yarborough while substituting for Fr. Smith during his vacation. Hope to see more of Clare in the future.
Fr. Breckenridge’s Karate class continues each Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM in the Parish Center.
See you in church!
Peace
Nancy
