Volunteers needed for Tucson's Hope Fest Saturday, October 15th,
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Tucson Electric Park to help with over 50 donated community services including dental care, medical checks, haircuts, including children's activities. If you are interested in volunteering, please pick up a "Mission Tucson" volunteer form located at the ushers' cabinet.

Quiet Day on the Feast Day of Teresa of Avila, Saturday October 15th,
from 9:00 AM until 2:30 PM, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church located at 901 W. Erie Street in Chandler. The Quiet Day, which is presented by St. Matthew's Chapter of Daughters of the King, with a brief talk on Spiritual Balance presented by the Rev. Dr. John Hall, guided meditations based on Teresa of Avila's writings presented by Betsy Zakowski. The Quiet Day will close with Holy Eucharist. Continental Breakfast at 9:00 AM; lunch and beverages will be provided. All are welcome. For information, please call Susan Doswell.

Social Concerns meeting this Sunday, October 16,
following 10 AM Mass. Informal report from Guatemala Project's summer team teacher Miluska, acolyte & soccer aficionado Jay, nurse Sarah, and coordinator Ila Short verbal presentations, lots of visuals (Sarah bought a video camera for the trip), some extra food to assuage your hunger. We spent a combined total of 164 days in Guatemala and visited 15 of the 18 rural Mayan communities with which we have a 12 year relationship.

St. Michael's Quilters October meeting is moved to Saturday. October 22nd,
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in the Parish Center. Please bring your projects and a sack lunch. Anyone interested in quilting is more than welcome to join the group.

Learn to read the bible in Hebrew
by attending Father Smith's Hebrew language class, Wednesdays at 8:40 to 10:00 AM in the Parish Library. Cost for materials is $20 perperson. Sign up at the ushers' cabinet.
