Two Bible Study Times
Wednesdays at 10am and 6:30pm Peter Schmidt leads a Lectionary-based Bible Study. This study of scripture takes the three-year cycle lectionary readings proclaimed at the liturgy each Sunday. At this time, we are reading various texts from the Old Testament, the Letter to the Hebrews, and the Gospel of Mark. By studying the readings for the up-coming Sunday, you can better understand the texts and can be attuned to hear the sermon. The study meets in the Womble Library. Parishioners and guests are welcome!

Opportunities for Giving

ANGEL TREE GIVING
It is almost time for ANGEL TREE again. The tree will be up on Sunday, November 29th, the first Sunday in Advent. You have all been so generous with your gifts for the children. It is a real blessing for me to be involved. We will have approximately 35 children again this year. As usual, each child will receive a clothing gift and a toy….book….game…etc. Please sign the list so that I will know who has which child and return your gift, unwrapped, to the church no later than Sunday, December 13th. As always, I will be glad to do shopping for anyone wanting to choose a child, but unable to do the shopping. My thanks to each of you. If you have a problem or a questions, please call me at 991-2354.
Blessings on each of you, Ancelyn
