Announcements for Week Ending September 4th, 2005


English Faire 2005 help is needed. Volunteers are needed toserve food and beverages at the dirty Duck Pub, to help with the English Snail Race, set up/take down, Church tours, English Tea Room, and other areas. Look for a near-future announcement isting the next English Faire planning committee. This year's event will include an arisan's show. Those interested in showing or selling their artistic endeavers, please contack Kelli. An English Faire flyer will be added to this web page soon.

Casa Maria Volunteers will meet Friday, September 2nd at 6:30 PM, in the Parish Center to prepare sack lunches. Your help is needed! The volunteers can always use a few extra hands and shelled hard-boiled eggs. Join them for fellowship and to help with this good work.

St. Michael's Sunday School,
for children ages 4 through 8 and ages 9 through 12, begins Sunday, September 11th. Registration is currently taking place. The program is looking for people, both parents and parishioners, to help as Shepherds. Contact information may be obtained from the the church office.

A support group formed for anyone who has experienced a loss at sometime meets monthly. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 12th, at noon, at the City Grill restaurant located at 6464 E. Tanque Verde Road. Please call Peggy Speese for reservations at least three days prior to the meeting.

U of A Episcopal Chaplaincy is looking for volunteers
to provide and serve meals for students on Sundays in the month of September. Volunteers are invited to worship with the students as well. Eucharist Service is at 6:00 PM with dinner following. Sign-up sheet is on the ushers' cabinet. For more information, contact Barbara Goldschmid.
