Announcements for Week Ending January 8th 2006
MIF Series - Adult Forum will continue on Sunday, January 15th. Look for upcoming announcements.
Sunday School will resume January 15th.
The Epiphany Service this Friday, January 6th, will be held at at 6:30 PM. Pot Luck with Epiphany cake will be in the Parish Center, immediately following the Mass. Plan on attending this significant service. Please bring your favorite delicious dish to share with all.
Thanks to St. Michael's Cookie Brigade for providing 55 dozen cookies for BorderLinks' christmas party for children at Casa Misericordia, Nogales, Sonora, December 17th. Attending were 1,476 children, so our help was much needed. Eash child received lunch, cookie(s), and a gift. Unitarian friend who went said it was the most touching and meaningful activity of their Christmas season.
A hearty thanks to all Altar Guild members and parishioners who so willingly helped to make the Church ready for Christmas. Some people said, "But I didn't do much." Please remember, a lot of people "not doing much" makes short work of a huge task! Thanks again.

A Support Group, formed for those who have experienced a loss at sometime, meets monthly. Next meeting Monday, January 9th, at noon, at the City Grill restaurant located at 6464 E. Tanque Verde Road. Featured speaker will be Judith Keane, from TMC, with the topic, "Depression After the Holidays." Please call Peggy Speese for reservations at least three days prior to the meeting.
