The Blessing of the Dogs?

Although there is always a variety of pets at the Blessing of the Animals for the Feast of St. Francis (this year including a tarantula!), most of the more visible pets tend to be dogs. Here are some of the blessed animals and their people at the 10:00 AM Mass:
