Mass For Church Unity continues every Friday
at 12:10 PM with celebrant the Rev. Carey Womble. All are invited to attend.

Epiphany gifts for Primavera - our treasure chest is open for those who would like to donate warm clothing, blankets, and sleeping bags to help homeless men, women and families throughout this winter season. The Primavera chest will be available through Sunday, February 26th.

the Epiphany trunkCasa Maria Volunteers will meet this Friday at 6:30 AM Mass in the Parish Center to prepare sack lunches. Your help is needed - the volunteers can always use a few extra hands and shelled hard-boiled eggs. Join them for fellowship and to help with this good work.

Announcements for Week Ending January 8th 2006

MIF Series - Adult Forum will continue on Sunday, January 15th. Look for upcoming announcements.

Sunday School will resume
January 15th.

The Epiphany Service this Friday, January 6th, will be held at at 6:30 PM. Pot Luck with Epiphany cake will be in the Parish Center, immediately following the Mass. Plan on attending this significant service. Please bring your favorite delicious dish to share with all.

Thanks to
St. Michael's Cookie Brigade for providing 55 dozen cookies for BorderLinks' christmas party for children at Casa Misericordia, Nogales, Sonora, December 17th. Attending were 1,476 children, so our help was much needed. Eash child received lunch, cookie(s), and a gift. Unitarian friend who went said it was the most touching and meaningful activity of their Christmas season.



A hearty thanks to all Altar Guild members and parishioners who so willingly helped to make the Church ready for Christmas. Some people said, "But I didn't do much." Please remember, a lot of people "not doing much" makes short work of a huge task! Thanks again.




Social Concerns Quarterly Meeting / House Mass / Pot Luck January 14th, beginning at 6 PM, replaces the Sunday morning meeting January 15th. Location to be announced. Everyone is welcome. Call Ila or Peggy for details.

A Support Group, formed for those who have experienced a loss at sometime, meets monthly. Next meeting Monday, January 9th, at noon, at the City Grill restaurant located at 6464 E. Tanque Verde Road. Featured speaker will be Judith Keane, from TMC, with the topic, "Depression After the Holidays." Please call Peggy Speese for reservations at least three days prior to the meeting.
