Knitters and Quilters will meet Saturday September 20th at the church at 11:00 am and will car pool to Mary Gayle Nash’s home. Please bring a salad and join us! There will be No meeting on Saturday, September 13.

UTO BOX offerings will be collected on Sunday September 21. Please use UTO envelopes for checks, payable to ECW, Diocese of Arizona.

The next ECW meeting will take place Wednesday September 17th at 10:30 AM. In the Parish Center! Following the meeting there will be a “Pot Luck” luncheon. All women of the Parish are invited to attend.

The ECW 49th Annual State Convention will take place October 3 and 4th here at St. Michael and All Angels. Sign-up sheets are located in the back of church. Ladies, we also need volunteers to help at the convention itself. Sign-up sheets are also located in the back of church.

The Barnabas Group is re-vamping its format. Beginning this month we will no longer strictly focus on grief and recovery….instead we are inviting everyone to a “Friendship-Fellowship” Luncheon on the third Monday of every month from September to May in the Parish Center. We will always be here for you. Please join us for a catered luncheon by “Joy”. The cost is only $10.00 and does require a reservation. Sign-up sheets are located in the back of church. Won’t you mark your calendars and join us for a relaxed hour or two. NEXT LUNCHEON IS MONDAY SEPTEMBER 15 AT 11:30 AM.

The Vestry will meet Tuesday, September 16th, starting at 7 PM in the Parish Center. All parishioners are invited to attend this important parish function.

All of us want to reach out to families in our parish and day school and encourage them to be a stronger part of our parish life. On September 7th we began a Special Family Mass at 9 am each week with a special children’s liturgy. This will necessitate a 15-minute shift in our Mass times to 7:45 am and 10:15 am. Thank you for your understanding and encouragement!

Opportunities for Giving

Thank you for your support of our food pantry. At this time we still need peanut butter, crackers, soup, snacks, and small boxes of cereal with small cans of evaporated milk. We thank you for your generosity

Altar Guild: Have you considered joining the Altar Guild? The Altar Guild is responsible for preparing those things necessary for the celebration of the Eucharist and the observance of other Sacraments of the church. Please contact the Parish Office for more information.
