Our Lady of the Desert House of Prayer (north parking lot north of the church) will hold a Lenten Retreat this Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 9:15 AM to Noon. A Pot Luck will follow at noon. All are invited.
St. Michael’s Parish Day School 2011 ART EXPO and AUCTION will take place Friday, April 29 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. a showcase o student art, visiting Tucson artists Valerie Galloway and Janet Burner, live entertainment; hands-on art activities for young children; wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres for adults; pizza for kids. THIS SATURDAY – Greet the Guatemala Maya visitors. Public welcome with greetings from Arizona indigenous and Tucson’s Guatemalan community at 5PM , a meal at 6PM and program after everyone is seated. No charge but donations heartily solicited.
