All Souls Novena began on Wednesday, November 2 and concludes on Thursday November 10. There are cards in the pews for listing your deceased loved ones who you would like remembered. Simply complete the cards and drop them in the collection basket or at the parish office.
Friday, November 11 ~ Pizza at 6 PM and movie at 6:45 PM. In honor of Veteran’s Day – the movie will be “The Best Years of Our Lives”, starring Frederick March and Myrna Loy. Filmed in 1946, this is a story about three WWII Vets returning to their small town home. Cost: $5.00, soft drinks will be provided, feel welcome to bring an adult beverage. Movie and Pizza at PARISH HALL! Sign-up sheets in back of church.
It is time again for St. Michael’s Angel Food ! Remember an angel you love this coming Christmas holiday with the best Coconut Macadamia Toffee you have ever tasted.Candy production began on Thursday, November 3rd and will continue through Saturday, November 12th. Many hands are needed to make this year a success. A sign-up sheet for volunteers is located in the back of church, or if your prefer, give the church office (885-7292) a call to sign up. Order forms and envelopes are located in the service bulletin and in the back of church. Simply complete, attach your check and drop in the collection basket or return to the Parish Office.
It is time for the TIHAN Travelling Christmas Tree to come our way. The tree will be at St. Michael’s only this week to take an ornament. The family TIHAN Christmas will take place December 6th. People have been unbelievably generous in the past and for this we thank you! Paulette O’Malley will be our TIHAN Christmas gift coordinator this year. Suggestions for gifts posted on bulletin board in front of church. Return unwrapped gifts to the Parish Office.
We are in the process of updating our church member photo directory, which will be linked to our Web site, accessible online, and password protected. Members will be able to log in, view, and even print the directory. In order to complete this project, your help is needed. Photo shoots will begin THIS Sunday, November 6. The photos will be taken before and after each Mass, both indoors and outdoors.
