All are invited to attend this important parish event featuring the newly expanded organ plus antiphonal division while experiencing an exquisite music presentation by the nationally acclaimed concert organist Todd Wilson. A champagne reception will follow the rededication and performance in the Parish Center. Tickets are $10 and are available at the church office and at church just before the concert.
Tucson Musical Arts Club Affiliated with Arizona Federation of Music Clubs and National Federation of Music Clubs Presents A concert honoring the memory of the late Mr. James Shafer, Baritone To raise funds for a scholarship for graduate women voice students at the University of Arizona St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church 600 N Wilmot Tucson, Arizona Sunday May 15, 2005 2:00 P.M. Donations accepted Mr. Shafer was a long time resident of Tucson and performed with many musical organizations, including the Arizona Opera Company, the Choir of St. Michael and All Angels, the Christian Science Church in Green Valley and the Southern Arizona Symphony. As an active member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, Mr. Shafer was trice President of the Tucson Musical Arts Club as well as the National Western Regional Opera Chairman. Mr Shafer was also chairman of the Marguerite Ough Scholarship at the University of Arizona. |
