Anglican Communion Sunday - let us pray and give thanks for the Diocese of the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC), for the Secretary General, and the Anglican Communion Office staff.
Friday Mass for Church Unity - several people have suggested that a noon Mass would be easier to attend. Should we change to noon? Please sign the notice at the back of the church if you would be interested in praying for Church Unity at noon on Fridays. Please note: because of St. Michael's Parish Day School's 8th grade graduation this Friday at 5:00 PM, the Mass for Church Unity will not take place at 5:30 PM.
A support group formed for anyone who has experienced a loss at sometime meets monthly. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 13th, at noon, at the City Grill restaurant located at 6464 E. Tanque Verde Road. Please call Peggy Speese for details, for a ride or to make reservations, at least three days prior to the meeting.
Bishop's Adult Summer School At Chapel Rock in cool Prescott June 19th through June 25th. Classes offerings are Where Did the Bible Come From? or Religion and Its Penchant for Violence: Holy War or Holy Community? These enlightening classes will be held in the morning and early evening leaving the afternoon for participants to enjoy the camp and surrounding area. Total cost for the workshop including 6 night accommodations and daily meal is $393 per person/single occupancy or $273 per person/double occupancy.
