Announcements for Week Ending 9/27/2015

NEW BIBLE STUDY CLASS

A note from Fr. Richard!

I am beginning a weekly Lectionary Bible Study. There are two sessions. ONE meets at 10:00 am on Thursday mornings and the other will meet at 6:30 pm on Wednesday.  Each class is 90 minutes and will take place in the Parish Center.

We will be using the magnificent and extraordinarily creative Bible Workbench approach that is replete with top notch scholarship, penetrating questions, poetry and wise musings to engage the biblical narrative.  If you plan to attend, sign-up sheets are in back of church so the proper number of packets may be ordered (or call the Parish Office).

THE FEAST OF SAINT MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS
COMMONLY CALLED MICHAELMAS

Next Sunday one Mass only, celebrated at 9:30 am, Bishop Kirk Smith presiding. Following the Eucharist, there will a “Festive Brunch” in the Parish Center, created by “Chef Andy Bruno”.
Everyone is invited. (a donation of $5 to defray the cost of the food will be greatly appreciated.)
